In the strategic io game Devast.io, your goal is build an underground shelter, arm yourself, generate heat, and cultivate food in a dystopian world where nature asserts its dominance to ensure your survival against the harsh surroundings and the remaining inhabitants.
To start, go to the upper left corner of the screen and click the crafting button, which looks like a hatchet.
As you level up, you'll unlock new powers.
Build a hat to keep your head warm, or upgrade your tools so you can make weapons.
Make sure you're alive and be careful around radiation.
Choose the low-quality settings from the options menu (the gear symbol in the upper left corner) if you're encountering lag.
Use either the arrow keys or the WASD keys to navigate.
To strike, use the left mouse button. To engage, hit the E key. To accelerate, keep the shift key depressed.
Hit "M" to go to the world map, and "C" to go to the menu where you can craft and use your skills.
